That'll leave a mark

On Father's Day, Julia decided to give me a very special present - a trip to the ER!  She fell off her bike and smashed her chin open. 
8 stitches, a large co-pay, and 5 days later, and her chin is looking fabulous. She said it hurt more when the nurse took the stitches out.

Frog legs

I took Dave, Codi and the kids frog hunting the other night.  They were all a bit skeptical that frogs actually existed in the wilds of K-town, until they saw this bad boy lurking in the reeds!

Flight of the Slinger

I mounted a Go Pro camera on top of my model airplane to get a first-person view from the cockpit.  Yesterday was the first flight, and it was a success!  It was really cool to watch the video. 

Today was the second flight, and for some reason it didn't go as well as planned.  The plane couldn't generate enough lift to make the first turn, and then I lost view of it behind a trailer in the parking lot.

Both the plane and camera are doing fine.
