A three year old can:
- cry hysterically because he just can't eat yogurt with a regular spoon, he has to have his little blue spoon, and he won't stop crying until you wash the little blue spoon even though it's in the dishwasher
- yell out in the middle of the night to "come put on my blanky!"
- throw himself on the floor because he did not get his potty treat after going potty, and no, a peanut butter bar does not count as a potty treat, he must have the potty treat (Nibs, if you're wondering)
- walk around all day with his finger up his nose
- put his hand down a girls shirt and act like it's perfectly acceptable behavior
- go to bed at 10 PM (usually 8 PM) and still wake up early at 7 AM, even on a Saturday
- demand a treat 2 minutes before eating dinner
- refuse to eat dinner because he doesn't like the yucky things in it (those are spices, you can't even taste them) ((yeah, but I can see them dad))
- only eat one bite of food for dinner and call it quits
- demand a treat 3 minutes after eating dinner
- wake up at 3 AM and demand that you sing him the other two Christmas songs that you forgot to sing when you put him to bed...7 hours ago
- steal the game piece and hide it somewhere in the house and then forget where he dropped it
- give you one big hug that makes you stop being mad for everything he's done and make you realize that he's really the best three year old ever
A three year old can also say cute funny things.
Upon hearing that his Uncle Drew is going to med school to become a doctor:
3 year old: "I don't want Drew to be my doctor because all doctors are mean. "
Mom: Who gave you that dollar bill?
3 year old: The Nazi in the other room.
3 year old: I will protect you from the zombies.
Dad: Stop running away from me, we need to get in the car.
3 year old: I was making sure there were no bad guys around.
Here's to the three year old.
